We are a fully equipped movement center utilizing Pilates, GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® Methods in small group classes, duets or one on one training.

PILATES is an innovative system of mind-body exercises based on the principles of Joseph Pilates. The Pilates method encompasses more than 500 controlled, precise movements designed to stretch and strengthen muscles without adding bulk. Pilates is an exercise system that focuses on core musculature to enhance and support spinal alignment and joint mobility. Results from Pilates are assured and almost immediate. Increased strength, flexibility, stamina and a clearer mind are only a few of the many benefits. People around you will notice a substantial difference in your overall appearance.
The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® is a holistic approach to movement that is designed to meet the needs of people of all ages and abilities. It allows users to stretch and strengthen muscles, while simultaneously stimulating and strengthening connective tissues in and around the joints of the body. The exercises are performed on the Professional Pulley Tower that provides even and constant resistance. The exercises are based on a series of circular and cat like fashion movements that improve core strength, flexibility of the spine, joint mobility, coordination and body awareness. GYROKINESIS® is a system that works the entire body through the 7 natural elements of the spine: forward, backward, left side, right side, left twist, right twist and circular, as well as all other joint articulation. This method gently works the joints and muscles through rhythmic and undulating movements. Fluidity is the key. Postures are smoothly connected through the use of breath, making the exercises appear effortless. Those who practice GYROKINESIS® exercises tend to be more relaxed in their daily lives and can move with increased flexibility and ease.
FELDENKRAIS method teaches you how to reconnect with your natural abilities to move, think and feel. It helps you release old habits and increase range of motion, flexibility and efficient movement.

JOANNE HAYASHI is a Certified GYROTONIC®, GYROKINESIS® and Pilates Instructor/ Owner and Founder of The Pilates Body.
Joanne's experience and passion for teaching allows her to work intuitively, focusing on each of her client's individual needs. She is a trained Pilates Instructor who studied at the Stott Pilates Training Center in Toronto, Canada. Her continuous curiosity of other movement modalities led her to GYROTONIC® and completely inspired by it. She studied and trained with Master Trainer Anjali Austin of GYROTONIC® Tallahassee, and trained with Lisa Marie Goodwin Rice for her Final Certification in Miami and continues training with Elise Kaplovitz and other Master Trainers like Lisa Lansing of GYROTONIC® Cleveland. In addition to her GYROTONIC® certification, she is also certified in GYROKINESIS®. Joanne strives to guide all her clients to a new awareness on how their bodies move and function, releasing their restrictions, relieving their pains or simply guiding them to their fitness goals.

FRANCESCA MIRABELLI teaches Pilates. She is a Feldenkrais practitioner, registered Movement Therapist and massage therapist. She holds a BFA in dance. Her Pilates sessions are individually designed to restore mental and physical well being, deep core dimensional strength, flexibility, improved posture and functional movement.
CINDE CARROLL is known for her unique ability to quickly assess her students' needs and help each meet his or her individual goal, including those with injuries, special needs and those in post-rehab. She is energetic, insightful and intuitive, teaching how to connect with the body from the inside out through the use of her many tools and fitness modalities.
With persistence and patience, Cinde helps both beginners and advanced students get results including increased strength, performance, stability, balance, flexibility and overall wellness and fitness.
Cinde has more than three decades of training and teaching experience and holds numerous credentials, including STOTT PILATES™ Essential and Intensive, Injury and Speciality Populations (ISP) Certification, a Certified GYROTONIC® Instructor, and American Council of Exercise (ACE) a personal training certification.
