I've been doing Pilates for about 4 years, and have been to many studios to continue my practice while traveling in Boston and Montreal. I've concluded that Joann is the best Pilates instructor that I've trained with, and that includes a master instructor from the Stott program in Canada. Joann doesn't just get you through the usual Pilates routine: she thinks about what your body needs and how your body works. She knows how to balance your strengths and weaknesses, improve your posture, and challenge your mind/body connection. In fact, she cares on a personal level about all her clients, and it shows in her teaching and in the atmosphere in the studio. I've been working with Joann since she opened her studio, and have been very happy with my experience.
